Wife.  Mother.  Friend.  Graphic Designer.  Photographer.  These are just some of the hats I wear in my day to day life. But that's a good thing as it keeps life interesting.

I love to learn and find almost everything fascinating on some level.  Whether it's about a foreign place, a new book, an artistic technique or even something so abstract as quantum physics (don't worry, I'm an artist, so I'm not the smarty pants in the family...my husband has that role.  Although I'm pretty street smart.  And funny.), the idea of learning something new still gets me giddy.  I think that quality makes me an interesting person, one who respects others and can appreciate that there isn't always black and white in life.  Lots of shades of grey.

My dad once said he'd rather know a little about a lot of things than know a lot about just one thing.  I couldn't agree more.  That's why I dabble in graphic design, photography and a smattering of other creative medias.  I think they all cross over at some point and helps to refine my artistic vision.

In addition to what I've just mentioned above, I'm really easy going, don't care for drama in life and relationships, and am brutally honest.  I can't imagine being any other way.  I've got a great family and some dear, dear friends and always remind myself how lucky I am to be able to pursue what I love.  Life is too short not to.
